Photos from the Holiday Bible Club...

 

Each day the Holiday Bible Club started of with a few choruses.  With around 130 children each day, the singing was bound to be loud if nothing else!!  After this, the story was told; quietness and concentration prevailed for the details of this were not only important for the boys and girls in their own lives, but also in the quiz which was to come!!  After learning a memory verse it was quiz time; boys against the girls!!

Out for the games, the seniors get into their teams and all with the aim to win!!  Today the aim is to run and gather letters from the buckets; these would be needed later!!
Words were then shouted out and the teams had to see if they could make the word from their letters and hold it up for all to see.  First to complete each word was the winner.  Here are two proud teams!!

Meanwhile, the juniors are playing their own sort of games ... these couple of farmers were apparently looking for wives!!
After games, the juniors rest while awaiting their refreshments.
And after their games, the seniors are looking forward to some refreshments too!!
All indoors again and now it's bookwork time.  Here the children discuss with the leaders what they have learnt that day and answer questions and puzzles on their worksheets.

Everyone has some bookwork to do, right from the youngest to the oldest.

At Holiday Bible Club we have spot prizes each day for those with the nicest smile, the nicest T-shirt, socks, etc.  As you can see, hair was on the agenda today and this was one prizewinner!!
And even after a long tiring morning, this small group were still able to pose for a photo!!
